I constantly try to communicate through the print media to explain developments in the EU and to set out the Conservative standpoint on key issues. Whether I get coverage, however, is not necessarily in my hands. I have been fortunate in having a large number of letters published in the national press. I am also invited to contribute in-depth articles to journals from time to time. Of regional and local newspapers, the East Anglian Daily Times is one of the few prepared to provide a regular platform to MEPs via their online editions.  You can read my latest column setting out the rational opposition to an EU defence role here.
